Welcome to Solutions Together UK. We are a Berkshire based behaviour management consultancy offering a range of services to schools, families, pupils and local authorities.

We work using a Solution Focus approach, which acknowledges the past and accepts it cannot be changed. What is important is how we focus on improving the future.

We can offer support in a variety of ways from coaching and consultancy, parenting groups, group work and individual work with children and young people.

We offer an assessment to determine the most effective support strategy. This may include working with a young person or child individually, support for the class teacher and school, or supporting the family with parenting and relationships or perhaps a combination of all.

Wherever possible, the emphasis is on enabling parents and schools to extend their skills to meet the needs of the child or young person. Everyone is encouraged to take responsibility for their own actions and develop strategies for managing their behaviour more appropriately.

Families sometimes need someone to act as a mediator to support them in finding a way to move forward. An independent person can identify the strengths the family have and help them to build on that capacity.

According to a DFES document 'Impact of Parental Involvement in Children's Education', research has shown 'conclusively that parental involvement does make a difference to pupils' engagement and their achievement and the evidence indicates that parental involvement benefits students, parents, teachers and schools.' We try to help build a bridge between schools and families to encourage effective communication.

We are a team of four highly motivated behaviour management consultants. Between us we have 67 years of experience helping young people and their families. We have all previously been members of an LEA Behaviour Support Team. We are Allison Bradshaw, Annie Thompson, Sue Wardle and Sarah Turner.
